Description
Embark on a thrilling adventure and explore the Via Ferratas in La Hermida. Choose between the Via Ferrata Los Puentes and Cueva Piloña or the Via Ferrata El Milar and enjoy a fun day out.
Meet your guide at the meeting point in La Hermida and get kitted out with all the necessary equipment. Then, set off on your chosen adventure.
Via Ferrata El Milar is a k3-k4 difficulty level with a duration of 2 hours. Located on the right wall of the Deva river in the town of La Hermida, you will cross a small chain bridge. There are three areas to explore. The first zone is a dihedral of 20 meters on an ascending diagonal. The second zone is a crossing zone of about 80 meters ascending with a small drop. The third zone is an exit with few steps and grips on the rock in the shape of a dihedral.
In the upper area, there is a flag from where you descend towards the river, which you cross using a zip line. The Via Ferrata Los Puentes and Cueva Piloña is a k3-k4 difficulty level with a duration between 3 and 5 hours and a maximum slope of 450 meters.
The via ferrata is located in front of the La Hermida spa and goes up the north face of La Peña Agero following the route of an old shepherd's path. It is divided into 3 areas. The first area is a children's area for children and initiation and has a difficulty of k2 with 95 meters of activity.
The second zone is a section with a medium difficulty of k3-k4 or the bridges with some collapsed pass and the 2 bridges, a 35-meter Tibetan bridge and a 100-meter plank bridge, a 700-meter distance. The third zone is a k3 difficulty level with the integral continuity until the Ciloña cave.
After your adventure, return to the meeting point in La Hermida.
