Description

Avilés has a historic center that surprises visitors. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, when it was granted a charter that elevated it to the status of a town and a defensive wall was built, which has now almost completely disappeared. On this tour, we will visit the center of Avilés, with its typical arcades, along with the Sabugo neighborhood, the only neighborhood outside the city walls that existed in the Middle Ages.
