Description
Learn about the creation of the lakes and the wildlife inhabiting this National Park. Visit Las Vegas, where shepherds produce the traditional Gamoneu del Puerto cheese during summer.
Stop at Mirador de la Reina lookout to observe vultures with provided binoculars and learn about efforts to reintroduce the bearded vulture, a species that disappeared from these mountains in the 1950s. Thanks to the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture, this bird can now be seen flying in the area.
The tour concludes with a return to Cangas de Onís after approximately three and a half hours.
