Description
Experience a nature adventure at the foot of the Picos de Europa mountains with a canoe descent of the Deva River, a classic and uncrowded route that connects Asturias and Cantabria. The route covers 12 km from Panes to Unquera and has a low to medium difficulty level, perfect for beginners, families, and groups looking for fun without the need for previous experience.
Front desk hours for the activity: 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The activity lasts approximately 3 hours (depending on the pace and flow rate) and combines stretches of calm water with backwaters and easy, fun rapids. You'll paddle surrounded by vegetation and unique landscapes, with time to enjoy the surroundings and the water at your own pace.
The experience includes very complete logistics so that everything is easy from the start: the necessary equipment (canoe, paddle, life jacket) is provided, as well as a watertight container per canoe to carry anything you don't want to get wet (including food and drinks). Also included are changing rooms, lockers, and hot showers, as well as transport to the starting point and pick-up at the end, along with the corresponding insurance.
The meeting point is usually at the Unquera offices, which are very accessible from the A-8 (exit 272). The ticket is valid for the day and time selected and can be modified by contacting us by phone. For safety reasons, the activity may be canceled if the weather or river conditions do not meet the standards; in that case, the amount charged by the company will be refunded.
