This tour explores the Asturian part of Picos de Europa National Park, suitable for nature and history enthusiasts.
Starting at your chosen meeting point, you will visit the Covadonga Lakes, enjoying views from the Entrelagos vantage point overlooking Lakes Ercina and Enol. Notably, a carving of the Virgin of Covadonga is submerged in Lake Enol.
Next, visit the Basilica of Santa María la Real de Covadonga. Inside, learn about the Reconquista and explore the Shrine of Covadonga, which houses the tomb of King Don Pelayo and the Cueva de la Santina.
The tour continues to Cangas de Onís, the first capital of the Kingdom of Asturias. Here, walk past the Hermitage of the Holy Cross and the Roman Bridge, while hearing the history of these monuments.
After lunch, return to your original meeting point.
